The "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Road Cycling Invitational Race opened on August 18, with the participation of over 120 riders from 18 countries and regions.

The riders set out from Yongdingmen, the assembling place, and rode all lthe way to the Juyongguan Great Wall. Pictures show a foreign-aid member on China's Team C offering a bottle of water to an Iran rider in the middle of the race.
